B.Tech Civil Engineering
The Civil Engineering department was established in 2009 and has grown from an intake of 60 to a stronger department with undergraduate and polytechnic support. The department highlights practical learning through construction-site exposure, internships, industrial visits, and research areas such as structural engineering, water resources, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, and RS/GIS.
To develop competent civil engineers with professional ethics, social responsibility, and capability to serve infrastructure needs.
Programme Educational Objectives: Graduates will build professional careers, apply engineering and management knowledge, communicate effectively, and practice lifelong learning with ethical responsibility.
Programme Outcomes: Engineering knowledge, problem analysis, design/development, investigations, modern tool usage, society and environment, ethics, teamwork, communication, project management, and lifelong learning.
